Rob Niven - Carbon Sense Solutions
Robert Niven, M.Sc. (Engineering) is President and Founder of Carbon Sense Solutions Inc (CSS), a specialized climate change technology consulting and development firm with clients across Canada and abroad. Robert actively participates within and combines aspects of the global sustainable cement and carbon capture and storage sectors with several publications, projects, presentations and novel research on the topics. His foremost contribution to the sustainable cement field is in the research, development and industrial demonstration of a value-added low carbon concrete production process undergoing trials at the Shaw Group plant. The technology has received broad acclaim by industry, academia, media and policy makers.
He holds an M.Sc. In Civil Engineering (Environmental Specialization) from McGill University and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Victoria.
